About Sam Clark

Sam has spent sixteen years in schools. He has had jobs as a teacher trainer, a school leader but has always been a teacher. Sam has a passion for mental health and has designed numerous programmes to support learning behaviour in schools.

Above all, Sam prides himself on listening. Listening to teachers, parents but above all, the children that he teaches. He realises that learning can’t happen unless you feel calm and he has spent his career trying to help children feel relaxed in schools.

Sam has a dog who always wakes him up early in the morning with whippet kisses. Yuck

About Karrie

Karrie is a master illustrator who has been creating spectacular images for twenty years. She has the amazing ability to bring challenging concepts to life and make them understandable for children. Karrie also has a great sense of humour and can create images that make people laugh.

She is also a mum and has a five-year-old called Percy, who helps her to create the amazing drawings. As a parent, Karrie realises the importance of the lessons and has worked alongside Sam to make sure that all of the lessons are useful for children.

Karrie is not just an illustrator. She has also designed the journal and created our website. She can also hit a cricket ball so high that it touches the moon.
